As a Boilermaker member, you and your family have access to Telus Health Virtual Care. Virtual health care is a live interactive health care service that allows you and members of your family to connect directly with a doctor or nurse practitioner (NP), 24/7/365, for consultation or other services such as; healthcare advice, prescription renewal, diagnostic and specialist referrals, lab requisitions, help to navigate the health care system, and more.

Here’s how it works:
- Describe your symptoms through the virtual care app or on their website. An NP or Physician will review your request and respond in minutes.
- Chat with a Nurse Practitioner. You can have your consultation by text, video, or audio chat in the Virtual Health Care app.
- Get a diagnosis or prescription. The NP or Doctor can diagnose and provide prescriptions or diagnostic referrals and lab requisitions as necessary during your consultation. Members will need their IBB Registration number to access these services.
